4.3.2 Charge Corona
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD: DC -295
(Output current from charge power pack: 1.1
1. Disconnect the charge corona connector high voltage lead and connect it
to the digital multimeter positive lead.
2. Attach the multimeter negative lead to the charge corona unit high
voltage terminal.
3. Generate a grid voltage of -940V using output mode No.71.
Turn on the main switch.
Press the Lighter key 10 times (image density level 10).
Set the lead edge erase at 15 mm.
Press the Plus key once and set 8 in the copy counter.
Press the Copy Exit Way key.
4. Generate the charge voltage using output mode No.61.
Press the Auto Image Density key and set the lead edge erase to 15
mm.
Press the Copy Exit Way key.
5. Turn VR101 on the CBG power pack to obtain 1.1 mA.
6. Turn off the main switch and reconnect the charge high voltage lead.
7. Connect the multimeter with the current measuring drum.
8. Generate a grid voltage of -940V using output mode No.71.
Turn on the main switch.
Press the Lighter key 10 times (image density level 10).
Set the lead edge erase at 15 mm.
Press the Plus key once and set 8 in the copy counter.
Press the Copy Exit Way key.
9. Generate the charge voltage using output mode No.61.
Press the Auto Image Density key and set the lead edge erase to 15
mm.
Press the Copy Exit Way key.
10. Confirm that the charge current is DC -295
