1. Place an oil catch pan under the oil drain plug (4) under
the engine. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil. Use
an approved container to store used oil. Remove the oil
fill cap (3) to aid in draining.
2. Using a filter wrench, remove the oil filter (5) and replace
with a new oil filter (See service parts list). Apply a light
coat of oil to the seal of the filter.
3. Replace and tighten the oil drain plug (4) underneath
the engine.
4. Add 7 quarts of oil to the engine by using a funnel so
it does not spill oil on the engine. Refer to the chart in
the engine manual for the proper oil to be used based
on your operating temperers.

5. Check the dipstick (2), and top off the engine oil to the
uppermost part of the cross hatched area (6A) on the
dipstick. Do not allow the oil to reach or go below the
lower cross hatched area/mark.
When topping off the engine oil, be sure to keep the
oil level in the crosshatched area and never exceed the
upper mark (7).
6. Once engine oil level shows full, replace engine oil fill
cap (2), and tighten as well as the dipstick (2).
Always check the engine maintenance manual for
any additional steps that may be required.

Fuel Tank - Check Level, Fill & Drain
GASOLINE IS HIGHLY COMBUSTIBLE. DO NOT
SPILL IT ON THE ENGINE. LET THE ENGINE
COOL BEFORE REFUELING. DO NOT SMOKE
OR ALLOW ANY HOT OBJECTS NEARBY WHEN
REFUELING.

The Fuel tank (8) is located along the rear of the machine as
shown above. The fill cap (9) is located just above the tank
near the air filter. To fill the fuel tank, loosen and remove
the fuel cap and carefully fill the tank with "GASOLINE"
only. Once tank is full, replace fuel cap and tighten securely.
Fuel Filter - Change To Purge
Change the fuel filter (10) as described in the "Service and
Maintenance" section of the Engine Maintenance Manual.
Note: The fuel filter is mounted above the fuel pump.
