Problem
The machine does not turn on
The pump is very noisy
The coffee is too cold
The milk does not froth properly
The coffee flows out too fast and no
creamy froth forms on the surface
No coffee flows out or it just drips
out slowly
Coffee leaks outside the rim
Should any problems occur that are not included in the above table or cannot be
resolved using the remedies suggested contact an authorised service centre.

Possible causes
The machine is not connected to the
power supply
Water level in tank too low
The temperature ready light (5) was off
when you pressed the switch (4)
Filter holder not inserted for pre-
heating (section 5).
Wrong kind of milk
Not enough coffee in the filter holder Add some coffee (section 5)
Coffee ground too coarsely
Stale or unsuitable coffee.
Water level in tank too low
Coffee ground too finely
Coffee compressed too firmly in the
filter
Too much coffee in the filter
"Hot water/steam" knob (7) open.
Excessive buildup of scale
Filter in filter holder clogged
Filter holder not properly fit into brew

Upper rim of filter holder dirty
Boiler gasket dirty or worn
Too much coffee in the filter holder

Troubleshooting

Remedy
Connect the machine to the
power supply
Add water

Wait until the light goes on

Check the fat content
