Magnesium Frame
OPERATION:
Replacement of the magnesium frame will require a complete disassembly of the unit.
Tools Required
Description
T10 Torx driver
T7 Torx driver
Phillips screwdriver with #0 tip

Removal
1. Remove the bottom housing assembly (refer to Bottom Housing operation).
2. Remove the core assembly (refer to Core Assembly operation).
3. Remove all assemblies from the magnesium frame.
Installation
1. Install a new LCD bumper on the new magnesium frame as shown (item 3 in the picture above).
2. Re-install all internal assemblies onto the magnesium frame. Refer to appropriate operations in other parts of these
service work instructions as needed.
3. Re-install the core assembly.
4. Re-install the Bottom Housing Assembly.
