14. ADJUSTMENT AFTER INSTALLATION

Trim Tab Adjustment

After the engine break-in (see P. 53), run the boat at full
speed and check to see if the boat is drawn to the left
or right. Adjust the trim tab as required to ensure good
and straight running characteristics.
Adjust the trim tab by removing the gear case
grommet and loosening the 8 x 25 mm hex. bolt.

• When the boat is drawn to the left:
Loosen the 8 x 25 mm hex. bolt and turn the trim tab to
the left. Fix the trim tab in the position.

• When the boat is drawn to the right:
Loosen the 8 x 25 mm hex. bolt and turn the trim tab to
the right. Fix the trim tab in the position.
