1. UNPACKING

• Unpack the package with care not to drop the parts
included in the crate.
1) Remove the tape from the two places on the
underside of the crate. Lift the corrugated board,
which contains the outboard motor, straight up
and remove it
2) Remove the parts cartons from the upper frame by
removing the bands.

3) Remove the twelve 6 mm bolts from the upper
frame.
4) Lift up the upper frame slowly and remove it with
care not to damage the outboard motor. (Note this
operation must be made together with an assistant
or assistants.)
