Verwendung nicht freigegebener Schmierstoffe
natürlichen Verschleiß
weitere Verwendung nach dem Auftreten von
Funktionsstörungen
nicht schriftlich vom Hersteller genehmigte
Eingriffe am Getriebe durch den Kunden.

Wird das Getriebe nach der
Auslieferung nicht gleich in Betrieb
genommen, so ist es in einem
trockenen Raum und in der
Originalverpackung zu lagern. Die
zulässige Lagertemperatur beträgt
-20 °C bis +60 °C.

Wir empfehlen, CPU-H/ -S Units vor der Inbetrieb-
nahme mit dem Maschinengestell und der Last fest zu
verschrauben. Die Units sollten im Bereich der
Dichtungen nicht mit Pressluft gereinigt werden.
E E r r l l ä ä u u t t e e r r u u n n g g e e n n : :
Units der Baureihe CPU-H/ -S sind serienmäßig mit
zwei Radialwellendichtungen an der Hohlwelle aus-
gestattet. Der Wirkungsgrad dieser Units wird durch
die Reibung dieser Radialwellendichtungen entschei-
dend beeinflusst, da sie auf der schnell laufenden
Eingangsseite und dem relativ großen Außendurch-
messer der Hohlwelle dichten.
Bei nicht ausreichender Wärmeabfuhr während des
Betriebs (Unit ist nicht an das Maschinengestell und
die Last angeschraubt) kann sich die Unit u. U. in
wenigen Minuten auf eine hohe Temperatur erwärmen.
Dadurch kann sich ein Überdruck in der Unit bilden, der
die Radialwellendichtungen zusätzlich vorspannt. In
diesem Fall kann der Wirkungsgrad der Unit geringer als
der gemäß Katalog berechnete Wirkungsgrad sein.

If the gear is not put into service
immediately on receipt, it should be
stored in a dry area in the original
packaging. The permissible storage
temperature range is -20 °C to
+60 °C.

We recommend to bolt the CPU-H/ -S units tightly
with the machine housing and the load before initial
operation. The units should not be cleaned with com-
pressed air in the area of the seals.
E E x x p p l l a a n n a a t t i i o o n n s s : :
CPU-H/ -S series units are equipped with two rotary
shaft seals at the hollow-shaft as standard. The fric-
tion of the rotary shaft has a considerable influence on
the efficiency of these units because the seals are
mounted on the fast running input side and seal at the
relatively big diameter of the hollow-shaft.
If there is insufficient heat dissipation during operati-
on (unit is not connected to the machine housing and
the load) the unit may reach a high temperature with-
in a few minutes. This may result in overpressure
which may have a negative impact on the pre-load of
the rotary shaft seal. In this case the efficiency value of
the unit may be different (lower) than the value given
in the catalogue.
