Basic Operation

Turning on the Scanner

Press and hold G / î. The scanner turns on and a welcome
message appears for about 2 seconds. Press and hold again to turn
off.

Selecting a Race Series

1. Turn the SEL/VOL dial on top of the scanner to select one of the
following preset race types:
•
NASCAR SprintCu
•
NASCARnationwid
•
NASCAR Truck
• (ARCA RE/MAX Series)
ARCA
•
Grand Am
•
IRL (Indy)
2. Press ENT.
LOAD DATA!!
car number/channel data may not be up to date.

Listening to Race Transmissions

After you select a race series, there are several options for listening
at the race.

Note: Series names, car numbers, and drivers are subject to
change without notice. Check that you have up-to-date information
before you go to the race.

Browsing All Car Numbers

Turn the SEL/VOL dial to scroll through car numbers and driver
names. If there are no transmissions, keep scrolling.
