Scanning

Basic Scanning Operation

Before the scanner can begin to scan, you must
have created scannable objects. Your scanner will
scan any scannable objects that are members of
enabled Scan Lists and are not locked out.
1. Press SCAN to start scanning.
Scan lists 1 to 10
Scan lists 11 to 20
2. Press PSE to pause scanner on an active
object in scan mode.
Press SCAN or PSE to resume scan.

Wildcard Scanning

A Wildcard TGRP object allows you to receive all
radio traffic on a trunked radio system. It works
by catching talkgroup calls on the system that
are not already stored as objects in the radio's
memory.
Flashing T indicates scanner is
receiving control channel data
from a trunked radio system
