4.1 Input/Output Board

4.2 Power Distribution Board

Modem Power Control enables an instrument to turn the power to a modem "OFF" or "ON" only when
required for scheduled calls and maintenance. It can be used to reduce the amount of power required by
the modem assembly so that non-rechargeable batteries can be used or even smaller solar panels can be
installed.
Refer Figure 4-2 for more information.
