In the single-ended switching configuration, the source
or measure instrument
is connected to the DLJT
through a single pathway as shown in Figure 2-7. The
insinJml?nt is connectd to the output of one of the
banks and the DUT is shown connect4 to one of the
inputs for that bank.
The differential or floating switching configl.lration is
shown in Figure 2-8. The advantage of using this con-
figuration is that the terminals of the scarce or measure
instrument are not confined to the same pathway. Each
terminal of the instrument can be switched to any
available input in the test system.
