Retain the default port number of the SFTP service. Otherwise, the upgrade may fail.
Step 2 Place the upgrade file in the file path specified by the SFTP server.
Step 3 Log in to the IPC as the root user.
Step 4 Run the cd /usr/app/bin command.
Step 5 Run the upgrade command (./update sftp sftp server IP filepath). The following
information is displayed:
Update: Update Process Start!
Update: Update Sftp Start!
Update: IP Address:192.168.0.1
Update: Enter Function: CheckIPAddress(192.168.0.1)
Update: Enter Function: UploadUpdateFile(sftp,192.168.0.1)
Please Enter sftp UserName:
In the upgrade command, sftp server IP indicates the IP address of the SFTP service and
filepath indicates the directory of the upgrade files under the root directory. For example, if
the directory for storing the upgrade files is D:\update\, the value of filepath is update.
If the following information is displayed, ensure that the SFTP service has been enabled and
the network connection is normal.
Cannot reach the server,Please check your network
Step 6 Type the user name and password obtained in Step 1.
The following information indicates that the upgrade files are uploaded successfully
and the upgrade starts:
Update: Start sftp uImage, Please Wait......
root@192.168.0.1's password:
Connected to 192.168.0.1.
Fetching /uImage to /usr/bak/uImage
/uImage
Update: sftp uImage Success!!!
Update: Start ftp jffs2, Please Wait......
root@192.168.0.1's password:
Connected to 192.168.0.1.
Fetching /jffs2 to /usr/bak/jffs2
/jffs2
Update: sftp jffs2 Success!!!
Update: sftp update file success.
The upgrade will be completed in five minutes when the following information is
displayed:
