Step 1 Use a user-owned cable to connect the lens connector to a 4-pin connector. Figure 3-3
shows 4-pin and 14-pin connector numbers. Table 3-1 describes Pins of a 4-pin
connector and a 14-pin connector.
To connect the 4-pin interface to the 14-pin interface using the cables or network cables,
users must prepare soldering irons and solder wires by themselves.

Step 2 Connect the lens connector to the IRIS connector.
Step 3 Open the rubber cover of the lens, and set switch 1 to 6V and switch 2 to IND.
Step 4 Screw the lens to the lens interface of the IPC.
Step 5 Connect the aperture control cable to auto aperture connector.
Step 6 Connect the focus cable to the Zoom/Focus connector.
