3.4. IP (NMU TCP/IP Properties)
IPv4 Link: Off or Static or DHCP
Instead of using default static IP, EOC 20-01 may enable DHCP client to get its 'IP/Subnet Mask/Default
Gateway/DNS' from DHCP server. Accompanying other DHCP options to auto-configure NMU/Master/EP via
TFTP.
IPv6 Link: Off or Static or DHCP or RADVD
TBD
DHCP Option 82 and Snooping
For Host (PC) at EP, EOC 20-01 could pad DHCP 'Option 82' and snoop DHCP handshaking packets to verify
host is using the valid IP/MAC granted by DHCP server – IP source guard.
3.5. Auto Provision/Upgrade
This contains two parts:
1. TFTP Parameters to Auto Config NMU/Master/EP
While enabled, EOC 20-01 will retrieve the related config files (*.nmu, *.dev – * states for device MAC
address) from external TFTP server(domain name or IP address); then setup NMU with *.nmu file, EOC 20-01
on board Master with *.dev file and connected EP (on-line) with *.dev file accordingly and overwrite the
original settings. Config script file is a batch file of multiple Telnet commands, refer Telnet for detail format.
2. Enable/Disable Auto Upgrade of EP's EoC/WiFi Driver
To upgrade EP working driver automatically or not, via EOC 20-01 while EP is on-line.
