• When this message is displayed, the output lights will continue to function and the Ei
will try to produce the required amount of chlorine.
• The water may become cold enough or the salt low enough that the Ei will not be able
to generate desired amount of chlorine.
Solutions
• Add salt until the indicator turns off
– This may require higher salt levels than recommended in the product manual
– There is no high salt shut off on the Ei
• Heat the water until the indicator turns off
– This may not be cost effective or practical
• Ignore the warning - the Ei will continue to run
– Freezing conditions or extremely low salt levels will shorten cell life
