Some controllers require different interface protocols. The Ei has 3 different modes
depending on which controller it will be connected to. The default is set to Jandy L/M.
To change: turn the Ei OFF, then press and hold the OUTPUT button for ~6 seconds.
The controller setting will appear on the display. Continue holding the OUTPUT button
until the desired controller setting is displayed on the screen. Release the OUTPUT
button. The Ei is now ready to be wired to the controller.
IMPORTANT: The comm link should not be made until the correct controller has been
set on the Ei
If connecting to a AquaLink RS or PDA
follow wiring diagram carefully.
