No Flow Light
"NO FLOW" is displayed when there is
insufficient or no water flow through
the cell. There is no chlorine
production at this time.
The minimum flow rate is 40 gpm.
It may also activate if the flow pod is
installed at more than 45° to the pipe
or if the flow switch paddle has been
turned within the flow pod.
Check Salt Light
In Firmware V 2.00 the "Check
Salt" light will illuminate and the
LCD will read CHECK SALT for
a variety of conditions including
low salt, low water
temperature, low incoming
power or a worn or damaged
electrode.
Check Salt Light V 2.00
• The ideal salt level is 4000 ppm and the ideal water temperature is
80º F.
• The CHECK SALT light will illuminate & the LCD will read "Check
Salt" if the water temp is below 65º, the salt level is below 3000 ppm
or there is a combination of lower than ideal salt & lower than ideal
water temp. This is the same as a Clearwater LM chlorinator.
• A cell which is damaged or dying out can also activate the CHECK
SALT light.
• Once the CHECK SALT light is illuminated, the output lights will not
illuminate, even though the Ei will continue to attempt to produce
chlorine at the chosen output setting.
• The water may be too cold or the salt level too low to achieve this
output but the Ei will continue to try to produce, even though no
output lights are illuminated.
