Traveling on a Grade

When traveling a grade, maximum braking and traction are obtained
with the boom stowed, in position over the rear axle, and in line with
the direction of travel. Drive the machine forward when climbing a
grade, and in reverse when descending a grade. Do not exceed the
machine's maximum rated gradability.
