Neither the vacuum or blower function working. Machine less that a year old. was working fine a couple of months ago. I've switched the levers back and forward and adjusted the speed. Motor working. Wondering if its clogged up inside, under the motor housing, but can't access it.

Keep the manual safe and pass it on if the machine is loaned or sold to another user.

When fueling/de-fueling ALWAYS avoid inhaling fumes. When de-fueling ALWAYS use a proper fuel retriever. ALWAYS carry fuel in the correct and clearly marked container. 1.10 Electrical Safety (where applicable). Electricity can kill – NEVER work on LIVE/ENERGISED equipment. 1.11 1.12 Prior to carrying out any maintenance work you MUST identify electrical isolation methods and isolate all electrical supplies.

1.26 Noise (where applicable). The operating noise of the machine can damage your hearing. Wear hearing 1.27 protection such as earplugs or ear defenders to protect your hearing. Long-term and regular users are advised to have hearing checked regularly. Be especially vigilant and cautious when hearing ear protection because your ability to hear alarm warnings will be reduced.

MACHINE SPECIFIC SAFETY 1.30 General Machine Safety. Read the owner’s manual carefully to understand how to operate this machine 1.31 properly. 1.32 You should NEVER use the machine when; 1.33 Wearing loose clothing, barefoot or sandals. 1.34 Under the influence of drink or drugs or as a result of having taken medication for cold or flu, or any other times when a possibility exists that your judgement might be impaired or that you might not be able to operate the machine properly and in a safe manner.
3. ASSEMBLY WARNING ALWAYS ensure the machine is turned off and unplugged before assembly or emptying the collection bag. FITTING THE SHOULDER HARNESS The Vacuum-Blower is provided with a shoulder harness (Pic.6)(6.1) this is attached to the top of the main body of the vacuum/blower as shown in (Pic.6)(6.2). The shoulder harness is provided to reduce fatigue and aid comfort when using the vacuum/blower and can be worn in a position to suit the operator.
4. STARTING THE MACHINE NOTE Before starting, ensure the vacuum/blower tube is fitted correctly and attach the collection bag. Without the collection bag fitted, the vacuum/blower will not start. Ensure the vacuum/blower selector lever operates smoothly. Plug the vacuum/blower in to a mains power socket and turn the socket on. Before selecting either the vacuum or blow function ensure that the selector lever operates smoothly and that it is not obstructed by debris from the previous use.
6. OPERATING THE MACHINE NOTE Before starting, ensure the vacuum/blower tube is fitted correctly and attach the collection bag. Without the collection bag fitted, the Vacuum/Blower will not start. Ensure the Vacuum/Blower selector lever operates smoothly. NOTE Any hard objects such as stones, bottles, cans etc. will damage the suction fan. DO NOT use the vacuum/Blower to suck up water or very wet debris.

VACUUM MODE ALWAYS inspect the area to be worked before starting, remove any objects or debris that could be thrown, jammed or become entangled in the Vacuum-Blower. Select the vacuum function using the selector lever on the side of the machine and switch on.

BLOWER MODE ALWAYS inspect the area to be worked before starting, remove any objects or debris 6.11 that could be thrown, jammed or become entangled in the Vacuum-Blower. Select the blow function using the selector lever on the side of the machine and switch 6.12 on.
7. MAINTENANCE WARNING You must turn off and unplug the machine before carrying out any maintenance. Always wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). NOTE Do not use a hose pipe or pressure washer for cleaning the machine. Do not use solvent based cleaning products as these could damage critical components.
8. STORAGE Inspect and clean the machine as laid out in the maintenance section. Store in a cool dry place away from extreme changes of temperature. Ensure the cable is neatly coiled and stored so as not to be a trip hazard or be at risk of getting damaged.
11. RECYCLING & PRODUCT DISPOSAL 11.0 We do not offer a take back scheme for the recovery of Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment (WEEE) & Batteries. Instead the responsibility to dispose of WEEE and or Batteries is passed onto you by us. So when it becomes necessary to dispose of your machine you must take it to your local Civic Amenity Site.
