Do not melt any blocks of fat in the fryer.
− Due to hot spots, which occur as long as the fat is not yet
completely covered in the frying tank, the heating element
may become damaged or a fi re may occur! Melt the fat
beforehand in a saucepan or similar.

Never extinguish oil/fat fi res with water.
− Old or dirty oil/fat may ignite itself due to overheating.
− Disconnect the power plug and smother burning oil/fat with
a fi re blanket.
