Initial use
− Prior to frying the food, dry it off thoroughly, in order to
avoid hot fat/oil spraying out.
− Remove the frost and all ice pieces from frozen foods. The
more ice remains on the food, the more the hot oil/fat will
spray.
WARNING!
− Place the fryer on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-
resistant and suffi ciently sturdy work surface, in order to
avoid spilling the hot liquid. The work surface should be
insensitive to spraying fat.
− Do not position the fryer at the edge or on the corner of the
work surface.
− Do not move the fryer during operation. Wait until the fryer
has cooled down completely.
− Keep the power cable away from children. Children may pull
on it and spill the hot oil/fat.
NOTICE!
Improper handling of the fryer may lead to overheating and
damage.
− Never not operate the fryer when it does not contain oil/fat. The
fryer may overheat. This may damage the heating coil and the
non-stick coating and smoke may develop. In this case, open
the windows and ventilate the room thoroughly.
