PLAS Channel - Installation Instructions
Please read all instructions prior to installation and keep for future reference!
1. Product should be installed by a qualified electrician.
2. Prior to installation ensure power is off at fuse box to prevent electrical shock.
3. If extrusion is installed facing up and in a wet location, ensure proper drainage and silicone
endcaps and diffuser lens.

Always wear safety goggles when cutting. If required for
installation cut PLAS aluminum extrusion to desired length
with hacksaw or miter saw that has an appropriate blade
for cutting aluminum.

LineLED strip
If required to fit the new PLAS extrusion length, cut down the
LineLED strip/s in between two rows of solder pads. Always
cut LineLED from end without connector/wire leads. Ensure that
LineLED strip/s fit completely inside the extrusion and the solder
pads do not touch the metal endcaps to avoid shorting of circuit.

Ensure appropriate drill
bit is used to drill in the
aluminum extrusion. Drill
location for mounting holes
(min. qty. 2) at appropriate
intervals and within the
groove in the middle of the
PLAS extrusion.
Also, ensure hole for
electrical wiring is located
where needed.

Ensure aluminum extrusion is
clean from dust before taping
the LineLED strip/s. If necessary
wipe extrusion and let dry before
installing. Locate LineLED strip/s
as close as possible to extrusion
ends to avoid dark spots.

If joining multiple extrusions. Insert the
PLAS JOINER (sold separately) half way into
one of the extrusion ends & tighten using the
proper allen wrench. Followed by pushing one
of the PLAS extrusion next to the other PLAS
extrusion and tighten the set screws. Repeat
step for any additional connections.
