INSTALLING PROVIDED SOFTWARE

To take advantage of a wide range of versatile functions such
as image display, processing, and storage, install the
provided utility software on your computer and download the
images from your camera.
The following five functions are available with the provided
Olympus utility software. For installation and operation, refer
to the software's online manual.
Download image data.
Connect your camera to your computer via the RS-232C
cable and you can download picture data files and thumbnails
into your computer. Other capabilities include control over
camera functions such as shooting, data erasing, resolution
setting, date/time setting, and other settings.
Image viewer
Displays images and thumbnails downloaded from the
camera.
Format exchange
Files can be saved in several different formats: JPEG (JFIF —
camera data), BMP (only for Windows version), and PICT
(only for Macintosh version), TIFF (used with Adobe
Photoshop).
Basic image processing
The following operations are available: Rotation (90°
clockwise, 90° anticlockwise, 180°), Colour change
(16,700,000 colours, 256 system, 256 custom, 256 grey,
black and white), Colour adjustment (overcast day,
morning/evening, fluorescent).
Printing
Single image, thumbnail, A4-sized layout (4 images)
