as soon as you receive the spa, it is important to check that
the packaging is in perfect condition and if not, immediately
notify the forwarding agent.
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material of
which is made the spa shell, due to its capacity to absorb
heat (dark colours in particular). Don't leave the spa to sun
exposure without adequate protection when not in use
(cover thermal, gazebo, etc.).
Any damage arising by not following these warnings are
not covered by the guarantee.
• Remove the spa from the packaging and remove the front pan-
i
els (

If the spa is supplied with a wooden outer cover, for its disas-
sembly and re-assembly (after the final positioning of the tub),

1) For all transport operations use only the pallet on which
the spa can be placed, while during installation support it by us-
ing only straps of adequate capacity, that can be inserted into
the runners and brackets at the bottom of the spa; after final in-
stallation, these brackets can be removed and kept for any fu-
ture handling.
WARNING
NEVER lift the spa by its edge or by its pipes.
• The empty weight of the spa is substantial. Therefore it is nec-
essary to use suitable straps when moving it. When choosing the
installation site, any obstacles to movement (corridors, doors, stairs,
etc.) should therefore be taken into account; outdoor and ground
floor installation sites are obviously preferable.
If it is impossible to use transport belts, the methacrylate panels
screw-fitted at the four corners can be removed so that the cor-
ner props can be used as supports for moving the spa.
NOTE: considering the weight of the spa, this type of
movement must be performed with extreme care and the
customer or its representative must assume full re-
sponsibility for it. Jacuzzi Europe accepts no liability for
damages caused by said operation or any other inap-
propriate handling procedures.
• Carefully inspect the spa before proceeding with installation,
checking the correct position of the couplings, pipes and clamps
(check that they are not loose).
I INSTALLATION
• Your spa has been designed so that the only requirements for
operation are connection to the electricity mains, earth, drain out-
let and water mains, all previously prepared (see attached pre-
installation sheet).
• To create a suitable support base, the gross weight must be
considered (when water and persons are added) and the re-
sulting floor load, depending on the selected model.
See the attached pre-installation sheet.
i
• (
2) The spa is equipped with a drain valve located roughly
on the centreline of the base. Therefore, a drain must be locat-
ed nearby (see enclosed "pre-installation diagram).
• For periodic emptying, a hose can be connected to the drain.
To do so, first remove the plug on the base and then screw on
the fitting with its gasket.
Notes
To open the valve, turn the ring nut counter-clockwise and
pull.
If you decide to attach the spa to the drain, it is advisable to
connect upstream from the valve (for greater flow capacity) and
to install a shutter valve near the drain in an accessible area

CAUTION
If the spa is connected to the city mains that pro-
vide drinking water for periodic filling, contact lo-
cal authorities first in order to ascertain compli-
ance with anti-pollution laws in each nation. For
EC countries, refer to standard EN 1717.
• For connection to the electrical mains, refer to the instructions
in the pre-installation sheet and the chapter "Electrical connec-
tions". Please remember that the mains circuit breaker must be
located in an area that is safe and accessible to the user.
Electrical connections
• Make the connection on the terminal board as shown in
NOTE: if power is provided with a double line or with a
three-phase line with a neutral wire (380-415 V 2-3 N ~),
before making the connection you must cut the indi-
cated jumpers, located near the power supply terminal
block.
