Inspection
1, Connect the pocket tester to the battery
terminals.
2. Start the engine.
3. Accelerate the engine to approximately
2,000 r/min or more, and check the
generator voltage.
Generator voltage: 14.5 ± 0.5V
4, If the indicated voltage cannot be
reached, check all connections. If the
connections are all good, check the bat-
tery, stator coil, and the regulator/rec-
tifier. If both the battery and stator coil
are in working order, the regulator is
defective and should be replaced.
Verification
I.
Brancher le testeur de poche (POCKET
TESTER) aux bornes de la batterie.
2. Damarrer le moteur.
3. Faire tourner le moteur a environ 2000
tr/mn ou plus puis controler la tension
generee.
Tension generee: 14, 5 ± 0,5V
4. Si la tension indiquee ne peut pas titre
atteinte, contrOler taus lesbranchements.
Si tous les branchements son corrects,
contrOler la batterie, l'enroulement d'in-
duit et le regulateur/redresseur. Si la
batterie et l'enroulement d'induit sont
en ordre de marche, le regulateur est
defectueux et dolt etre changd.
Prilfung
1. Taschenprufger5t an die Batterie-An-
schlusse anschlieRen.
2.
Motor anlassen.
3. Motor auf ungehahr 2.000 U/min oder
mehr beschleunigen und dabei die Span-
nung der Lichtmaschine priifen.
Spannung der Lichtmaschine: 14,5 ± 0,5V
4. Wenn die vorgeschriebene Spannung
nicht erreicht wird, alle Anschliisse Ober-
priifen. Falls elle Anschliisse in Ordnung
sind, die Batterie, Statorspule and den
Regler/Gleichrichter Liberpriifen. Sind
Batterie und Statorspule in gutem
Betriebszustand, so ist der Regler schad-
haft und rnuf3 erneuert werden.
