Installation
Installation Checklist
When installing the ESP-Me controller for the first time, it
is recommended that you complete the following steps in
order.
A check-off box is provided for each step:
 Check box contents (see page III)
 Gather installation tools (see below)
 Select a location
 Mount the controller
 Connect controller power
 Install station modules (optional)
 Connect field wires
 Complete the installation
 If a Rain Sensor is installed, turn the dial to Rain Sensor
and set status to "Active" using the + key

Gather Installation Tools

Before beginning installation, gather the following tools
and materials:
a. Marking pencil
b. Phillips screwdriver
(#1, #2, #3 tip)
c. Flathead screwdriver
d. Hammer
