Getting Started Guide
The Status Bar is located at the lower-left corner of the analyzer display.
Analyzer activity and errors are reported here.
The Switch Statistics, Local Utilization, Device Discovery, Protocol Statistics,
Problem Discovery, and Network Discovery buttons provide information on
their respective areas. The combined information provides a blueprint of the
network, letting you know how things are going. This information will allow you
to quickly dismiss some hypotheses during troubleshooting without "drilling-in."
Some buttons show a green check mark (good) or red X (error) to draw your
attention to potential problem areas.

This button indicates the link speed, and duplex mode (shown by
solid and outlined arrows). In this example it shows a 100 Mbit full
duplex connection (two solid arrows). One solid and one outlined
arrow represents half duplex. Press this button to go to the Setup |
Ethernet screen.
This button indicates that Receive only, do not transmit
frames (silent mode) is turned on in the Setup | Ethernet screen.
This button generates tabular HTML reports on select screens. The
reports are stored by default in the user interface installation
directory under \Reports. When this button is pressed, you are
prompted to specify a filename or to use the default name provided.
This button prints a snapshot of the current screen to the currently
configured printer.
This button opens the help system and will display help information
on the current screen.
When going to a screen using a button with the forward arrow
the Back button then returns you to the previous screen.
