the LCD shows '°F', then release the
"Measure" button. Use the same proc-
ess to change the LCD display from
°F to °C.

FEVER ALARM

If the thermometer detects a temper-
ature ≥37.5°C (or 99.5°F) under fore-
head mode, a long beeping sound fol-
lowed by three short beeping sounds
to warn the user for potential fever.

POWER OFF

Device will automatically power off
if left idle for more than 1 minute to
extend battery life or (only for the
forehead mode) keeping press the
ON/MEM button for 5 seconds. In
next power on, it will get back to the
default setting of "HEAD" tempera-
ture function.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

The sensor (highlighted on the fig.7)
is the most delicate part of the ther-
mometer.
Use with care when cleaning the sen-
sor to avoid damage.

a. Keep the unit dry and away from
any liquids and direct sunlight.
b. Please use the alcohol swab or the
soft cotton moistened with the 70%
alcohol to clean the sensor and the
plastic surface in contact with skin
c. Clean the contact surface after each
use to avoid cross contamination. And
clean the sensor in presence of dirty
trace to ensure an accurate reading
Allow the sensor to fully dry for at
least 1 minutes.
Important Notes:
1. Make sure the sensor is clean
2. Before the measurement, please
stay in a stable environment for
5mins and avoid the exercise, bath
for 30minutes.
3. Remember to keep the temple
area clean and away from sweat,
cosmetics and scar before taking
temperature.
4. During the measurement, please
away from the direct sunshine and
wind.
IMPORTANT: The thermometer is
NOT water-proof. Please keep the unit
dry and away from any liquids. Storage
Range: -20°C~ 50°C (-4°F~122°F)
HOW TO FIT/REPLACE THE
BATTERY
1. It is supplied with one lithium cell
(CR2032x1pcs)
2. Open the battery compartment by
turning the cover 45° clockwise.
3. Remove the battery safety strip
with a sharp-pointed object.
