To Create File Systems on the New Boot Disk

Create a file system on each slice on the disk using the newfs(1M) command.
Enter the newfs command followed by the device name of the slice. In this example,
the device name for slice 0 of disk c7t16d0 is /dev/rdsk/c7t16d0s0.
# newfs /dev/rdsk/c7t16d0s0
newfs: construct a new file system /dev/rdsk/c7t16d0s0: (y/n)? y
