    6. Install antenna and receiver Clean windscreen in the adhesion area. When sticking on the antenna, the windscreen should be at a temperature of at least +20 °C. It is essential that the antenna lead is installed in such a way that the ITS head air bag is not handicapped when it unfolds.

    Install timer (optional) If no timer is to be fitted, branch cable E (1) should be tied back to the wiring harness. Install branch cable E (1) to the notch (2) by the side of the radio slot on the left. F 46 0016 R Stick the supplied drilling template on the finisher (1).

    8. Coding In vehicles from 9.98 with IHKA (automatic heating and air conditioning), the IHKA control unit and the control unit of the supplementary heater have to be re-coded. In vehicles with IHR (integrated heating control), no coding has to be carried out. The coding version current at the time should be used for coding purposes.
