Initial Setup

Use the following commands for your initial setup, for further information see the
specific command listed in this chapter.

set date {mm/dd/yyyy}
set time {hh:mm:ss}
set id {"id-name"}
set clock1 {slot:port}

set ethernet ip address
{ip-addr} {mask}
set ip gateway {ip-addr}

Set Up Security

Use the following commands to set up the security on the Compact T1. See the set user
command for details.

Description
Disables DIP switches.
Set the date used for event logging.
Set the time used for event logging.
Set a system ID name.
Set the primary clock source.
Set the secondary clock source.
Set the ethernet IP address, in the
conventional IP address format.
Set the IP gateway, in the conventional IP
address format.
Description
Specify the user name and the security level.
Set a password for the user.
