Purpose of this guide

This guide provides you with the essential information you need
to familiarise yourself with the basic operations of your Nucleus

Freedom Speech Processor.

Once you understand the basic functions of your processor, the
Freedom User Manual provides more in-depth information that's
outside the scope of this guide – particularly in the areas of advanced
user operations, maintenance and troubleshooting. Refer to the user
manual for more detailed information on the instructions provided in
this guide.
It is important that you familiarise yourself on how to clean and
maintain your processor, and follow a regular cleaning routine. This
will increase the lifetime of your processor and minimise the risk of
decreased hearing performance.
