1. Place the industrial film to be scanned on the digitizer glass surface. Proper
positioning of the film on the digitizer is important for getting a correct image.
Incorrect positioning of film will result in an incorrect image.
• If the width of the film is larger than the width of the digitizer glass
surface, align the film against the top corners (left and right) of the U-
shaped ruler located at the front of the digitizer.
• If the width or the length of the film is smaller than the width of the
digitizer glass surface, do not align the film against the U-shaped ruler
located at the front of the digitizer.
When placing the film, make sure
that the Calibration strip on the
digitizer glass surface is kept clear
and free of obstruction at all times.
