CONNECTING
THE SYSTEM
The following is a short step-by-step procedure that will teach
you how to connect the KODAK EKTAPRO EM Motion Analyzer
components and then use them to make a recording. Please
follow this sequence exactly and do not turn power on until
instructed to do so.
CONNECTING AC POWER
The power supply in the KODAK EKTAPRO EM Processor will
automatically select 110 volts AC or 220 volts AC. The power
supply will operate properly when the AC power source is
between 47 and 440 hertz.
CAUTION
Before plugging the KODAK EKTAPRO EM Processor into the
AC power source:
Insure that the AC ON/OFF SWITCH on the back panel is
OFF.
Insure the AC power source is between 90 and 132 volts or
between 180 and 264 volts.
Check the rating of the fuses. If you intend to operate the
EKTAPRO EM Processor at or near 120 volts then both fuses
must be rated at 5 amps, time delay. If you intend to
operate the EKTAPRO EM Processor at or near 220 volts
then both fuses must be rated at 3 amps, time delay.
