Chapter 4. Common Problems and What to Do
The sections in this chapter help you determine the action to take when you have a
problem. There are three different modes in which problems can occur:
• During 3708 logon
• In full-screen mode (protocol conversion)
• In line-by-line mode (protocol enveloping).
When you have a problem, go to the section for the mode in which you were
operating. Check the left column for the symptom. The middle column describes
the probable causes and the right column describes the action you should take to
resolve your problem.
