Section 4 - Configuration
This section allows you to set up and configure the wireless settings on your camera. For more information, refer to "Wireless Security" on page 50.
SSID:
Enter the network name(SSID) of the wireless network you want to connect to.
You can also click the Site Survey button to choose an available network and fill
in settings automatically.
Connection Select Infrastructure if you are connecting your camera to a wireless router
Mode:
or access point. Use the Ad-Hoc connection mode only if you are wirelessly
connecting to your PC without the use of a wireless router or access point.
Security Mode:
Select the same encryption method that is currently being used by your wireless
network. (Wi-Fi devices on your network must share identical encryption
settings.) You can select None, WEP, WPA-PSK, or WPA2-PSK.
Cipher Type: If you chose WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, select either TKIP or AES encryption, based
on the encryption method your wireless network uses.
Pre-Shared Key: Enter the key (password) for your wireless network.
Click the Save Settings button to save your changes.
