Checking Gas Line Connections

1. Remove top lid and rear panel.
2. Check for leaks by spraying all connection points
with a non-corrosive gas leak detection fluid. You
should not see the solution be blown away or form
bubbles.
3. Check gas pressure at the regulator in the
generator by following these steps.
Close gas supply valve.
Remove the top gas pressure test port from the
regulator (see
pressure tester (manometer).
Open the gas supply valve and verify the
pressure is within the specified values.
NOTE: Gas pressure can also be tested at the
manometer port on the fuel shut-off valve shown in
Figure
5-2.
NOTE: See
Fuel Requirements and Recommendations
for proper fuel pressure specifications. If the gas pressure
is not within specifications, contact the local gas supplier.
4. Close gas valve when completed.

5. Reinstall the rear access panel by hooking it on top
of the unit. Verify the alternator bellows is
completely secure around the frame provided on
the access panel. Attach the panel firmly to the unit
with the two shorter hex socket screws.
6. Reinstall the top lid firmly with the four long hex
socket screws.
