Remove the two screws that secure the removable-media drive
tray. Slide the tray backwards slightly and lift it out of the
system unit.
Open the drive bay door.
The drive bay aperture is initially obscured by a blanking plate
attached to the top of the metalwork. The blanking plate must
be broken out before you can install a drive in the bay.
Break out the blanking plate by bending it backwards and
forwards several times.
Remove the new drive from its packaging and ensure that it is
correctly configured.
With the drive there should at least be four screws and a
ribbon signal cable. Some drives may be supplied with
