Step 3 Connect the CIM power cables. Connect a straight-through cable between the CIM and the
adapter, and connect the adapter AC power cable to a socket.
If batteries cannot be charged, do not connect the cable to the PoE port on the CIM.

 Prepare a straight-through cable and socket by yourself.

The socket and plug appearances are for reference only. The actual objects prevail.
 The adapter must obtain power from the UPS AC output.
