Step 2 Install the CIM.
The following describes how to install the CIM on the top of the BCB box. It also provides a
reference for how to install the CIM on the side of the BCB box.

Connect the antenna delivered with the CIM to the RF_Z port on the CIM.
When installing the CIM in the battery switch cabinet, do not use the delivered antenna. Attach the
external antenna to the top of the battery switch cabinet, and connect the antenna cable to the RF_Z port
on the CIM.
Strip the adhesive tape from the CIM fastener, and attach the fastener to the BCB box.
 Ensure that the attaching area is clean.
 Ensure that the fastener is firmly attached with even strength.
Clamp the CIM to the fastener.
