Calibration of Tabletop HATS

Before Tabletop HATS Type 5128-B can be used for measurements of headphones, for example,
the calibration procedure described in Section 2.5, should be performed.
If Tabletop HATS is equipped with a mouth simulator the calibration procedure described in
Section 2.3 should be performed prior to performing measurements on headsets, for example.
If Tabletop HATS is equipped with a mouth simulator, please be aware that the reflections
CAUTION:
produced by the shoulders of the torso, will be missing. Furthermore, unwanted
reflections from the table where the Tabletop HATS is placed, are likely to impact the
measurement.

Disassembling HF HATS Type 5128

Disassembly of Tabletop HATS Type 5128-B and HF HATS Types 5128-C/D is performed by
following the relevant procedure in reverse, see "Assembling HF HATS Types 5128-C and 5128-
D" on page 5 and "Assembling Tabletop HATS Type 5128-B" on page 17.
