STEP 1
HITCH ASSEMBLY
FOR THE SD MODEL
Attach the lever arms (item 1) from the 3 point hitch to
the assembled box scraper with the pins (item 3).
Attach the links (item 2) from the 3 point hitch to the
assembled box scraper with two 5/8'' n.c. x 2'' hex
bolts (item 4) and two nylon insert lock nuts (item 5)
as shown in figure 1a.
Do not tighten the nuts right now.
FOR THE HD MODEL
Attach the lever arms (item 1) from the 3 point hitch to
the assembled box scraper with two 3/4'' n.c. x 2'' hex
bolts (item 3) and two nylon insert lock nuts (item 4).
Attach the links (item 2) from the 3 point hitch to the
assembled box scraper with two hex 5/8'' n.c. x 2''
bolts (item 5) and two nylon insert lock nuts (item 6)
as shown in figure 1b.
Do not tighten the nuts right now.
FOR THE SD MODEL
Align the holes in the links with the holes in the lower
holes in the lever arms as shown in figure 2a.
With a sleeve (item 2) placed in the middle, insert a
hex bolt 5/8'' n.c. x 4 1/2'' (item 1) and secure with a
nylon insert lock nut (item 3).
When hitch is installed, it will form a A-frame. Make
sure the A frame is positioned perpendicular to the
box scraper and frame.
Tighten the bolts according to torque specification
chart.
FOR THE HD MODEL
Align the holes in the links with the holes in the lower
holes in the lever arms as shown in figure 2b.
With a sleeve (item 2) placed in the middle, insert a
hex bolt 5/8'' n.c. x 4 1/2'' (item 1) and secure with a
nylon insert lock nut (item 3).
When hitch is installed, it will form a A-frame.
Tighten the bolts according to torque specification
chart.
