    ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT: UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED TORQUE ALL BOLTS ACCORDING TO TORQUE SPECI- FICATION TABLE (SEE TABLE OF CONTENTS) WHEN STATED: TIGHTEN FIRMLY. REFER TO PARTS BREAKDOWN SECTION FOR PART IDENTIFICATION. Do not tighten hardware to the correct torque until assembly is completed or unless specified. NOTE: In this manual: The right and left side is determined by sitting in the driver’s seat facing forward.

    ASSEMBLY FRONT CHAIN GUARD Preparation: Remove front shield as shown with following items: REF. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION QTY. Front shield Carriage bolt 3/8" n.c. x 1 " GR5 Flat washer 7/16" hole Nylon Insert lock Nut 3/8" n.c. Remove front shield Installation: Install front chain guard as shown with following items:...
  • Page 5 ASSEMBLY Preparation: Remove tail wheel assembly as shown with following items: REF. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION QTY. Wheel support Hex. bolt 1/2" n.c. x 3 1/2" GR5 Nylon Insert lock Nut 1/2" n.c. Note: These items will be reinstalled later. Remove tail wheel assembly. Preparation: Remove rear shield as shown with following items: REF.

    ASSEMBLY When rear chain guard is installed, tailwheel must be moved back by one set of holes. Make sure to position the wheel support correctly. Select hole corresponding to your implement. Refer to (4’, 5’ or 6’) on picture. Install tail wheel assembly as shown with following items: REF.

    Check for damage of the protective structures as guards and replace damaged parts as necessary. The parts on your Rotary Cutter have been specially designed and should only be replaced with genuine Mahindra parts. Do not alter the cutter in a way which will adversely affect its performance.
