16.1 Enclosure

The individual CUE cabinet sizes are characterised by their
enclosures. The table shows the relationship of enclosure class
and enclosure type.
Example:
Read from the nameplate:
• Supply voltage = 3 x 380-500 V.
• Typical shaft power = 110 kW.
• Enclosure class = IP21.
The table shows that the CUE enclosure is D1.
