Hold the trigger lock down on the main control handle (4).

Lift the throttle trigger (5).

Holding the auger firmly, gently pull the recoil starter handle until you feel resistance
and then pull swiftly until the engine attempts to start (6).

Move the choke lever to the OFF (run) position (7).

Pull the recoil starter handle until the engine runs (8).

Allow the engine to warm up at idle for 20 seconds before operation.
