Checking the battery
Make the battery accessible.
•
Make sure the battery (4) is firmly seated.
•
Check the battery terminal (1 and 3) for cleanliness,
•
cleaning it if necessary and covering it with petroleum jelly.
Be careful when cleaning the positive terminal - risk
of short circuit! Do not use metal tools.
Screw out all six plugs (figure above, position 2).
•
Do not open maintenance-free batteries!
Check the fluid level according to the figure, top up with
•
pure water, if necessary.
Do not top up with tap water or battery acid.

(B) Fluid level too low
(A) Fluid level OK
(D) Fluid level too high
Screw in the plugs.
•
Close the flooring at the front left of the driver's section.
