Keysight S9101A 5G Multi-Band Vector Transceiver consists of: Keysight S9101AX which is an S9101A IF Subsystem (PXIe chassis and modules, rugged front panel, and cables) Keysight S9101RH mmWave Transceiver for 5G These products have been designed and tested in accordance with accepted industry standards and have been supplied in a safe condition.

    Clean the outside of Keysight products with a soft, lint-free, slightly dampened cloth. Do not use detergent or chemical solvents. To prevent electrical shock, disconnect the S9101A from Mains before cleaning. Use a dry cloth or one slightly dampened with water to clean the external case parts.

    Consider ergonomics when locating any keyboard or mouse which will be used in connection with an instrument. Install the S9101A so that the detachable power cords are readily identifiable and is easily reached by the operator. The detachable power cord is the disconnecting device.

    2 Review Safety Requirements 2. 10 Power Requirements The S9101A does not contain customer serviceable fuses. Failure to ground the test set properly can result in personal injury. Before turning on the test set, you must connect its protective earth terminals to the protective conductor of the main power cable.

    These power cords ground the S9101A cabinet when connected to an appropriate power line outlet. Use the Keysight supplied power cord or one with the same or better electrical rating. There can be one or two M9410A (Modular TRX) modules in an S9101A and each one can open its own instance of X-Apps; this means there can be one or two instances of X-Apps running where each instance is controlling a different M9410A (Modular TRX) module.

    8 Run a System Amplitude Calibration The following System Amplitude Calibration and referenced example code can be used to improve the Amplitude Accuracy and Level Accuracy of the S9101A as well as correct for environmental effects such as humidity. The Keysight S9101A 5G Multi-Band Vector Transceiver hardware must be powered on for at least two hours to allow the S9101RH mmWave Transceiver to stabilize in temperature.
