4. Pull out the seat belt, guide it over the

child seat and lock the belt tongue in belt
buckle a.
5. Insert lap belt b in blue seat belt
X
guides c on both sides of the child seat.
Caution Do not twist the belt.

6. Pull on diagonal belt d to tighten lap
X
belt b.
Caution Make sure that belt buckle a is
not located in blue seat belt guide c or
extends so far forwards that it is in front (in
the direction of travel) of blue belt guide c.
7. Guide diagonal belt d behind the head
X
end of the child seat.
8. Slide diagonal belt d between blue
X
holder e and the child seat so that the
belt hooks into place.
Caution Do not twist the belt.
9. Pull on diagonal belt d to tighten the
X
belt.
10. Check that the child seat is installed
X
correctly.
11. If necessary, remove the child seat
X
from the vehicle and repeat steps 2 to 10
until the child seat is secured correctly.

12. Fold out D-SIP

vehicle door.
Note: The extended D-SIP
additional accident protection in the event
of a side impact. Never use it to carry or
secure the child seat.

each journey that:
the child seat is installed against the

direction of travel.
the child seat is only attached to the front

passenger seat if no front passenger
airbag can act on the child seat.
the child seat is secured in the vehicle with

a 3-point seat belt as described above.

belt guides c of the child seat.

holder e and the child seat.
