GETTING STARTED - STAGE 1: HATCHIMAL EGG

When you rst get your egg out of the box, REMOVE the TWIST locks and separate your Hatchimal from the plastic packaging to turn on your Hatchimal.
After removal, dispose of keylocks immediately. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts.
HOW TO TURN
• TILT me UPSIDE DOWN for EIGHT
SECONDS or more to turn me OFF.
OFF THE EGG
• HOLD the BOTTOM of my egg to WAKE me up.
e STAGE 1: BEFORE HATCHING
Before your egg will hatch, you must care for it. Hatching will take up to 20-25 minutes in TOTAL. You can nurture
your egg continuously or over time. Always HOLD me by the BOTTOM of my egg.
TILT the EGG to PLAY with me.
TAP on the egg and I will tap back.
I can only HEAR you TAP when I am QUIET.

• Hatchimals are VERY FRAGILE. Always use two hands when playing with your egg.
• Hatchimals only hatch ONCE. You CANNOT put your Hatchimal back in the egg.
• Accidentally breaking your egg results in missing the hatching experience.
• DO NOT submerge the toy into water. This can damage the electronic assemblies.
• To clean, wipe the toy gently with a clean damp cloth.
• Keep the toy away from direct sunlight and/or direct heat.
***You can RESET your Hatchimal at any time to return
to STAGE 3 (Baby). See page 29.***

I AM COLD RUB THE BOTTOM OF MY EGG TO WARM ME UP.
I AM SCARED RUB THE BOTTOM OF MY EGG TO COMFORT ME OR KNOCK ON MY EGG TO SCARE ME MORE.
I AM GOING TO SLEEP RUB THE BOTTOM OF MY EGG TO WAKE ME UP.
I AM LISTENING TAP ON MY EGG AND I WILL TAP BACK.

STAGE 2: HATCHING YOUR EGG
WHEN MY EGG STARTS FLASHING RAINBOW LIGHTS, IT MEANS I AM READY TO HATCH!
***DON'T WORRY, I CANNOT HATCH WITHOUT YOU THERE.***
1) RUB the BOTTOM of my egg to encourage me to start 5) REMOVE the TOP of my egg and break away any extra
pecking. My egg will flash WHITE LIGHT while I am pecking. pieces of shell that might block my way.

FEED me by TILTING me FORWARD. You CUDDLE me by PETTING my HEAD. You
will HEAR me EATING. will HEAR me "COO".
SICK - GREEN SCARED - DARK BLUE
PET my HEAD to COMFORT me. SQUEEZE COMFORT me by PETTING my HEAD or
my BELLY to make me COUGH. TILT me to SCARE me more by CLAPPING. When I feel
