- Page 3 Twist-Up Eyecup Fig. 5 This spotting scope features a twist-up eyecup designed to exclude extraneous light (See Fig. 5). If you do not wear eyeglasses, you may choose to twist the eyecup up to block stray light and reflections from your view. If you are wearing eyeglasses, lower the eyecup to bring your eyes closer to the spotting scope lens, providing an improved field of view.
- Page 4 Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and eventually cause permanent damage. For a more thorough cleaning, use a Carson C6® lens cleaning product. IMPORTANT: Never attempt to clean your spotting scope internally or try to take it apart.
